Purple Violets

This film was quite slow but I was happy the way director has narrated the film. This film has got no big subject but the screenplay is quite good. I was impressed by the way Edward Burns has narrated the film. As we all know Edward Burns is not a good actor in the screen but he is convincingly a good director. Selma Blair,
Debra Messing, Edward Burns are the lead characters of this film.

This film is about two young writers who try hard to become the famous American writer with the help of their new book. There are few characters which make the script sick but the film is well balanced by Edward Burns acting. The only thing I though was, Debra messing can be given some other role rather than wasting her talent as Edward’s sick girl friend. If you ask me about the rating I would give two and a half stars for this film.
